Talking to reporters at Gobichettipalayam in Erode district, he stated the schedule for lessons and timings can be introduced when chief minister K Palaniswami inaugurates the lessons.

The Minister’s announcement on Wednesday with regard to on-line lessons had triggered a debate since authorities school students largely hail from poorer sections of society and should not have the wherewithal akin to sensible cellphones.

He had stated 5 personal TV channels would telecast the lessons on the scheduled time for free.

There was opposition in some quarters, particularly mother and father, who opined that the kids weren’t ready for on-line lessons.

He had additionally stated preparatory work was on for conducting the lessons, which might start after July 13.

Referring to class XII students, the Minister stated authorities is able to allot examination centres for all 34,842 students who have been unable to write down the board examination on March 24 as a result of coronavirus unfold.

The examination centres can be established wherever required for all of the students who missed their final board examination. The re-examination can be held on July 27.
