‘Literally Anybody Else,’ an Army veteran and 35-year-old Texas resident is all over the internet as he has shown up to run for the US presidency by changing his name legally. 

Dustin Ebey has changed his name legally to Literally Anybody Else. Literally everybody else is a teacher by profession and hails from North Richland Hills, Texas. 

As per reports by Business Today, Dustin changed his name as a measure to express his dissatisfaction with the presidential candidates standing for elections currently, Donald Trump and Joe Biden. 

A judge approved the Army veteran’s name change. Thus, Dustin Ebey got his new driver’s license and filed the necessary documents so that he could run for the presidential elections.

Literally Anybody Else’s Political Strategy 

Dustin Ebey could be quoted stating, “This isn’t about me, ‘Literally Anybody Else’, more so as it is an idea. We can do better out of 300 million people for president.” 

As per Texas law, “113,151 signatures are required from registered voters who did not vote in the presidential primary of either party to appear on the ballots.”

Literally everybody else accepted the challenge. And also filed with the Federal Election Commission, reported The Guardian.

Furthermore, the army veteran isn’t delusional and is aware of the fact that garnering the required signatures is going to be a tough task. 

Literally Anybody Else, formerly known as Dustin Ebey, stated that people like him should have an outlet who are frustrated with the “constant power grab between the two parties.” ” especially which does not benefit the common citizens of the country in any possible way.

Literally Anybody Else’s website, literallyanybodyelse.com, states, “For too long have Americans been a victim of their political parties putting party loyalty over governance. Together, let’s send a message to Washington and say, ‘You will be represented or be replaced.’ America should not be stuck choosing between the ‘King of Debt’ (his self-declaration) and an 81-year-old. Literally, Anybody Else isn’t a person. It’s a rally cry.”
