New Delhi, Feb 24 (IANS) – Logistic9 (Log9) and Trinity Cleantech have partnered to create an interoperable charging network for electric vehicles (EVs) in India. Trinity will deploy 2,000 public charging stations nationwide by the end of the next fiscal year. The collaboration will integrate Log9’s ‘Instacharge’ platform with Trinity’s ‘Thunder’ platform.

Log9’s Co-Founder and COO, Kartik Hajela, mentioned, “Type 6/Bharat LEV DC is emerging as a standard fast-charge protocol for last-mile low voltage vehicles.” Log9 is actively working to ensure accessibility for their next-generation fast charge battery customers. The partnership also includes adherence to the ‘BCA LEV DC’ standard to offer users charging flexibility and convenience.

The focus of the partnership is to increase the adoption of Type 6 fast chargers, which represent the next-generation EV charging standard. Trinity Cleantech’s CEO, Raj Kumar Medimi, highlighted the importance of DC fast-charging stations for electric three-wheelers (e3Ws) and electric two-wheelers (e2Ws) owners.
