LPG Cylinder Prices caused By Rising Crude Prices

The rising crude and LPG prices precipitated by the war in Ukraine is driving the prices. It is a relief that domestic LPG prices have not been hiked. The government has played its cards well and kept the price hike of fuel and LPG in abeyance keeping in mind the elections in five states in the country.

However post election, the government lost no time in hiking the prices. Prices of Petrol, Diesel and LPG have been increased continuously in intermittent intervals. The subsidized LPG cylinder was hiked by Rs 50 on March 22. The prices of LPG has remained constant since October 6,2021, when the prices was last hiked.
