Later, the police arrived with the helpers to control the situation, the officials are not aware of any damage.
According to the Lucknow Police, these officers went to inspect a gas service on 19 April. There were already many people standing in line with the gas cylinder. During the inspection, the officials told the people that supply of oxygen cylinders will be provided only to the hospital and no one will be given.
According to the police, there were 40 people present at the gas station at that time, many of them were ill and were being treated at home and needed oxygen. There were many people who were standing for the oxygen cylinder by laying the line from the night itself.
Hearing the talk of the drug inspector, many of them got angry and the argument started. Seeing things getting worse, the police intervened and sent the inspecting team back. Later ACP Alambagh also reached the spot.
