Lulu group to invest Rs 1,500 crore in developing a mall in Noida

According to the Greater Noida Authority, Abu Dhabi-headquartered Lulu Group might new diving into a new venture in Great Noida. Lulu Group may invest almost ₹1500 crore to build a mall in the Greater Noida region of Delhi NCR. 

The spokesperson of the company conducted a meeting with the desired authority in order to find relevant land around the area. 

Noida latest developmental projects

Lulu group already has a well-established and successful mall operating in Lucknow and 3 new projects committed in Uttar Pradesh including one mall in Prayagraj and Varanasi along with Lulu  Food Processing in Greater Noida.

Currently, Lulu has initiated a plan to build India’s biggest shopping mall in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It will also include an NRI investment. Rs 3,000 crore investment will help in giving employment to 6,000 people along with indirect employment in the state. 

Coming back to the project in Noida, discussions to acquire land in a suitable area is at their final stage and the foundation stone will be laid by next year for the mega shopping mall.

The mega mall will consist of around 300 national as well as international brands and a 3000-people capacity food court with multi-cuisine restaurants. It will also have the biggest children’s amusement centre, and 15-screen multiplex cinemas with lmax to name a few attractions. 

“This will be India’s biggest Shopping Mall with the biggest Lulu Hypermarket as its anchor store. With all its modern facilities and attractions, we are sure this shopping mall with hundreds of brands will not only bring national and international tourists to Ahmedabad but also support the local entrepreneurs and the agricultural sector in a great way” said Ananth Ram, the Group’s Director of Indian Operations.
