MCU Future: Mahershala Ali’s BLADE look shocks Fans, Fanarts Here

Remember that movie ‘Blade’ that made our childhood memorable? Marvel Studio hasn’t forgotten about it. The immortal vampire hunter is back again. Oscar winner Mahershala Ali was revealed back in 2019, the sequel of the blade. The half-vampire hunter comes under MCU. 

During an appearance at San Diego Comic-Con’s Hall, the studio announced its official release date for next year. The movie is all set to open in the theatre on November 3, 2023. 

If you follow the Marvel series then you would probably know that Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will be the first step in the starting of Marvel’s Phase 5. The movie will be released on Feb 17, 2023. And as per sources, Mahershala Ali’s ‘Blade’ will be a part of it. Phase 5 will commence with Thunderbolts i.e on July 26, 2024. 

Mahershala Ali as BLADE

According to sources, Mahershala Ali confirmed his recordings, a voice performance for the movie. If you have seen Eternals, then you would have probably noticed a blip audio of him in the post-credit scene for Eternals. Also, many would presume Dane Whitman played by Kit Harington will make a surprising return as it can be seen Blade is speaking to him. 

Wesley Snipes who played the role of Blade in the originals won’t mind being replaced by him. He stated he is all good with Ali taking over his role. 

Back in 1973, Marvel Comic introduced ‘Blade’ to the world. Since then he has gone on to become an incredibly famous character. One of the main reasons is the movie released in 2000 and starring Wesley Snipes. The movie became a box office hit along with its 2 sequels in which characters such as dark superheroes were introduced to the world. 

Not much is known regarding the debut of Ali in the movie. But fans are excited to see how Mahershala Ali will play the role of Blade in the movie.
