Mahindra & Mahindra Signs MoU with Adani Total Energies E-Mobility for EV Charging Infrastructure
Mumbai, March 21: Mahindra & Mahindra has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Adani Total Energies E-Mobility Ltd (ATEL) to enhance the electric vehicles (EV) infrastructure in India. The partnership aims to create an expansive EV charging network across the country, offering seamless access to customers.
The collaboration will provide EV users with access to more than 1,100 chargers through the Bluesense+ App, ensuring a smooth and integrated experience. Veejay Nakra, President – Automotive Division, M&M Ltd, highlighted that this alliance will enhance the EV charging infrastructure and provide unparalleled EV experience to customers.
Suresh P. Manglani, Executive Director and CEO of Adani Total Gas Ltd, emphasized that the collaboration with Mahindra will boost confidence among customers to adopt EV technology as part of the energy transition. This partnership aligns with India’s climate action goals and commitment to reducing carbon emissions.
The collaboration between Mahindra and ATEL is in line with COP 26 commitments, demonstrating the joint efforts needed to decarbonize transportation and promote a sustainable future. ATEL reaffirmed its commitment to supporting India’s journey towards a sustainable and electrified future by providing clean energy solutions to various sectors.
