Mahindra set to launch XUV3X0 SUV on April 29 – Is it the XUV300 facelift?
Mahindra and Mahindra has teased a new SUV called the XUV3X0, believed to be the facelift version of the XUV300. Testing has been spotted ahead of the launch, set for April 29. The SUV will compete with Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Verna, and Toyota Urban Cruiser.
The teaser video reveals a new-look grille, updated LED DRLs, a connected taillight setup, and a premium sound system. Changes in design align with spy shots of the XUV300 facelift, including a sunroof – a first for the model. The new SUV is said to resemble the XUV400 electric SUV.
Inside, the XUV3X0 will feature an upgraded touchscreen infotainment system, a new driver display, wireless charger, automatic climate control, and new upholstery. Safety features include seven airbags, disc brakes, parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat mounts, ABS with EBD, ESP with Hill-Hold Assist, and three-point seatbelts.
The XUV3X0 is expected to retain the engine options from the XUV300 – a 1.2L turbo petrol engine, a 1.2L GDi turbo engine, and a 1.5L diesel engine, all paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The turbo-petrol and diesel engines will also have a 6-speed AMT transmission. The launch is one of Mahindra’s first of the year and is highly anticipated in the SUV market.
