“Love, Deceit, and Stolen Crypto” Tunisian Woman Maissa Jebali Accused of Swindling TrumpCoin Worth $850K from South Florida Boyfriend

Anthony Bravo met Maissa Jebali a Tunisian national, at a lounge and soon their relationship blossomed into a romance. For six months the cupid-struck duo enjoyed dinner dates and cruises on Bravo’s yacht. However, things turned sour between the lovers and one day after an altercation Maissa Jebali disappeared when Bravo was asleep.

Anthony Bravo who was from South Florida on waking up found that Jebali had siphoned off $800,000 worth of TrumpCoin cryptocurrency from his wallet and used his credit card to go on a shopping spree.

Anthony Bravo told media outlet NBC6 that Jebali had misused his credit card to book lodging at an Airbnb for $4,000. She also used his credit card for a  $14,000 shopping binge.

Bravo then took the help of a private investigator David Bolton and traced Jebali to a hotel in Miami. Miami Police took Jebali into custody from the hotel. Jebali has been charged with third-degree theft and credit card fraud.

Bravo told the police,

“She unlocked my phone and transferred $850,000 of Trump Coin from my phantom wallet directly into her phantom wallet.”

Jebali however denied the charges and told Police that her boyfriend would let her use his credit card. She also added that she wanted to end the relationship and was not going to return to her boyfriend. She also stated that she did not want her boyfriend to know her whereabouts.

In another twist to the story it was found that Maissa Jebali had overstayed her visa and she was taken into custody by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Bravo stated that he did not want her to be deported. He wants his ex-girlfriend to stay in the country to be prosecuted for her crimes of stealing his crypto assets and using his credit card to commit fraud. At present Jebali is under the custody of ICE in Florida.

Bolton, the private investigator working with Bravo stated,

“We can’t just be in a hurry to push people out of the country for some political reason, we need to examine each case and what crimes are involved here and make a determination. Is it worthwhile to send him back, or should we put them through the system here? In this case, the answer is obvious.”
