Malti Chauhan’s Video Before Death Viral, Father Alleges In-Laws For Murder Over Dowry

If you like listening to Bhojpuri songs and vlogs then you would know who Malti Chauhan is. She is a renowned YouTuber who posts videos under her ‘‘Malti Chauhan Fun’ YouTube channel. She garnered quite a fanbase on her channel with 650,000 subscribers and a vast collection of 24,000 videos.

Sadly she was found dead in her home located in Sant Kabir Nagar last Thursday.

Fans love her for her honesty and confidence in her own skin.

However, in one of Malti’s recent videos before her unexpected death things weren’t looking good. She accused her husband Vishnu and in-laws of domestic violence and claimed they are demanding more dowry from her.

Malti Chauhan video stirs controversy in the media. 

For those who don’t know Malti Chauhan the famous Bhojpuri YouTuber who was found hanging in her in-law’s home in Kali Jagdishpur Sant Kabir Nagar in Uttar Pradesh on 23 November. She came from a poor family but gained national-level fame due to her desi-style reels and posts in a very short period of time.

Her father, Deep Chand Chauhan has filed a case against her in-laws indicating that his daughter fell victim to dowry and domestic violence. He has filed a legal case stating that Malti died because of her in-law’s dissatisfaction over their dowry needs. 

Santosh Kumar Singh, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) stated to the media through a video statement that receipt Deep Chand tol them about the lifeless body of his daughter. She was found hanging from a hook attached to the roof at her in-law’s home. A police team was sent to the site and the body has been sent for postmortem.
