Man fatally stabs younger brother during trivial dispute in Lucknow

A man was arrested in Lucknow for allegedly battering his younger brother to death over a domestic dispute. The incident took place at their under-construction house in the Nishatganj area. The accused, identified as Raj Kishore, along with his wife and daughter, became furious after seeing his brother tying a cow on the ground floor.

The altercation escalated when Raj Kishore picked a fight with his younger brother, Babu Yadav, leading to a physical confrontation. Despite attempts by Babu’s wife and daughter to intervene, Raj Kishore attacked them with bricks before repeatedly assaulting Babu until he collapsed.

According to SHO Akhilesh Mishra, Babu was rushed to KGMU trauma center where he was pronounced dead. DCP Raveena Tyagi confirmed that a case of culpable homicide was registered against the accused, who was subsequently arrested for his involvement in the tragic incident. The victim’s daughter, Muskaan, revealed that Raj Kishore had a history of arguments with her father.

The authorities are currently interrogating the accused to gather more information about the motive behind the attack. The shocking incident has left the community in Nishatganj area in disbelief as they come to terms with the tragic loss of Babu Yadav.
