This man was the first person to share the Gospel with me when I got to college. He took time to come to my dorm room, invite me to go play frisbee golf and explain why the God of the universe wanted to have a personal relationship with me. Little did I know then how important that conversation really was.

Thank you Mark Rygh for following after Jesus Christ. I am eternally grateful to have met you. I look forward to seeing you again someday.

Who was Mark Rygh?

Not much has been revealed to the public about his personal life. He was from Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Mark completed his basic education at Greenway Senior High School and later enrolled in the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point to follow his passion for forestry.

Because of his interest and hard work, he contributed to both Fort Wilderness Ministries and UW Oshkosh. Above all, he finally found happiness when he married the love of her life Emily Rygh. He always stated Mark was his source of strength.
