I want to live my life with no regrets.”
Recently he got a tattoo of a Dove, he told it was imperative to get it done by Dr Woo, a man who was on the waiting for a long period of time. The sweet, calm dove make with an olive branch denotes “Signifies a new beginning, hope, and freedom.“
He also tattooed a phase “Stay True” and “Be Real” on each knee. I always want to be true to myself, and I don’t want the fame to get to me.” That is his motto in life.
One of his tattoos is of Hibiscus on the back of one of Mark Tuan’s biceps. It is also the national flower of Korea. Although he was born in America but his root was always Korean. He explained- “I started out my career in Korea. I’ve gained a lot in Korea, so I got that on me.”
Although Mark Tuan always said every tattoo he got has some meaning behind it. But there are a few he got done cuz it felt cute or funny to him. Among one those is a smiley face. He said he has no regret policy when it comes to getting inked. He got a smiley face on his kneecap “was just something fun.” Just a smiley face, he also has one tattoo of a butterfly with no special meaning just for fun.
