In what has become an eerie occurrence with terrifying regularity, another private leak and another prominent Pakistani social media personality has fallen victim.

This time it is Maryam Faisal, and she has become the fifth victim after Kanwal Aftab, Minahil Malik, Imsha Rehman, and Mathira Khan, whose private and explicit video has gone viral on social media.

Maryam Faisal Video Leak Triggers Debate

Maryam Faisal is a prominent Pakistani TikToker who has a sizable fan following, and her private video surfaced on social media.

The last few days have seen a slew of such private video leaks on social media involving prominent Pakistani social media stars. It started with social media influencer Minahil Malik, whose inappropriate private video was first leaked on social media and soon went viral. According to Minahil Malik, the video was fake, and she also lodged a complaint with the FIA, or the Federal Investigation Agency.

The controversy had hardly settled when another media personality, this time Pakistan TikTok star Imsha Rehman, had her private video go viral.

The social media star also faced a lot of backlash, with a section of the internet community accusing her of deliberately leaking her private videos to gain publicity. The incident impacted the star so deeply that she deactivated her social media account.

The next victim was Pakistani TV host and influencer Mathira Mohammad, whose explicit clips showing her in a compromising position were leaked on social media. Mathira Mohammad, however, stated that people are using her name to upload fake and morphed pictures for publicity.

In all the cases mentioned above, there is no confirmation about the authenticity of the viral videos. The videos and pictures could be fake or morphed, and even if proven at a later date, it will not undo the damage caused to the personalities’ images.
