Mathura: High alert in the city on the 29th anniversary of Babri Masjid demolition

29th anniversary of Babri Masjid demolition: Today is the 29th anniversary of the demolition of Babri Masjid. Vigilance is being taken all over the country regarding this and to deal with any untoward incident, tight security arrangements have been made at many sensitive places. In Mathura too, tight security arrangements have been made on the 29th anniversary of Babri Masjid demolition. There is a high alert in Mathura district and section 144 has also been imposed.

Along with this, a large number of paramilitary personnel have been deployed. In terms of security, Mathura has been divided into 4 superzones, 4 zones and 8 sectors. Also, more than 200 paramilitary personnel have been deployed in security to prevent any untoward incident. The traffic system has also been changed by the administration. Under this, no vehicle will be allowed towards Janmabhoomi-Deg Gate. The administration has issued a special traffic advisory till December 7.

In Mathura, some organizations have announced to perform Jalabhishek in the Idgah, after which strict security arrangements have been made by the Mathura administration. Along with this, strict security arrangements are in place in Ayodhya on the 29th anniversary of the Babri Masjid demolition. Ahead of next year’s assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, precautionary steps have been taken to maintain peace and order in the state, so that no untoward incident is faced and law and order is maintained.

Let us tell you, recently, the Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya stated in a tweet. In which he wrote, ‘अयोध्‍या, काशी जारी है… मथुरा की बारी है.’ After this tweet, speculations are being made to give an edge to the issue of Hindutva during the BJP’s assembly elections. In such a situation, like Ayodhya, strict security arrangements have been made in Mathura too.
