Maverick 440 and Xtreme 125R boost Hero MotoCorp’s post-19% YoY growth

Hero MotoCorp has reported a 19% year-on-year growth in sales for February 2024, selling 468,410 units of motorcycles and scooters. This growth is attributed to improving consumer sentiments and favorable economic indicators. The company expects this momentum to continue in the coming months.

In February 2024, Hero MotoCorp sold 436,929 units of motorcycles and 31,481 units of scooters. Domestic sales reached 445,257 units, while exports nearly doubled to 23,153 units. The company has seen steady growth in both segments, with a total of 51,31,040 units sold in the current financial year.

Hero MotoCorp’s focus on premium motorcycles has led to the launch of the Xtreme 125R and the upcoming Mavrick 440, based on the Harley-Davidson X440. The company plans to ramp up production and sales of these models in the coming months, aiming to capitalize on the growing demand for premium bikes.

The company’s success in February 2024 reflects a positive trend in the two-wheeler market, driven by strong product offerings and strategic decisions.
