Hero MotoCorp has commenced deliveries of its flagship motorcycle, the Mavrick 440 in India. Dr. Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman, Hero MotoCorp, handed over the bikes to customers at a special event in Gurugram. The Mavrick 440 will be exclusively sold through Premia dealerships.
The Mavrick 440 comes in three variants – Base, Mid, and Top, priced at ₹1.99 lakh, ₹2.14 lakh, and ₹2.24 lakh respectively. The bike features a roadster design with modern and retro elements, showcasing a muscular fuel tank made of metal. It includes LED illumination, a digital speedometer, and Bluetooth connectivity.
Powered by the same engine as the Harley-Davidson X440, the Mavrick 440 delivers 27 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 36 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The engine focuses on low-end torque for a smooth riding experience in both city and highway scenarios. Paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch.
Built on a steel trellis frame, the Mavrick 440 boasts 43 mm telescopic forks at the front and 7-step adjustable twin shocks at the rear, providing a comfortable ride with 130 mm of travel. It offers exceptional braking performance with a 320 mm disc at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear, both equipped with dual-channel ABS.
