Megan Fox Tattoos and their Meanings

Megan fox has around 9 tattoos, some are references from the literary world, some are influenced by celebrities and some are just tribute that is close to her or has some meaning in her life. 

She has one tattoo on her back that goes- “We will all laugh at gilded butterflies.” It denotes lines from act five, scene 3 of Shakespeare’s 1606 play “King Lear.” Although she changed it a little bit, the actual lines read- “So we’ll live, and pray, and sing, and tell old tales, and laugh at gilded butterflies.”

The transformers actor also has a black tattoo on her wrist, however, the meaning behind this is still unclear but based on the photos it looks like yin and yang. Yin and Yang resemble “The yin is the dark swirl, and the yang is the light one. Each side has a dot of the opposite colour,” Fox tattoo has a similar pattern but it is not the same black and white pattern. 

Another tattoo Megan has is of the moon on the top of a blue star on her ankle. Earlier, she stated in many interviews her interest in astrology. “There’s something to it, although we don’t have all the information, which makes it easy for people to take advantage of each other,” she said on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

When she met her current boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly on the set of “Midnight in the Switchgrass” in 2020 she looked into his astrological chart. “I asked him to come into my trailer for lunch, and I put him through all of this astrology stuff. I went deep right away. I knew before I even did his chart, I said to him, he has a Pisces moon. I could tell by his energy,” she said on “Give Them Lala … With Randall.”
