MG Motor India to unveil two new products in 2024

JSW MG Motor India Pvt Ltd, a joint venture between SAIC Motor and JSW Group, announced plans to launch two new products, including new energy vehicles (NEV), every three to six months starting this festive season. The company will expand production capacity in Halol, Gujarat, focusing on NEVs, with a target of up to 3,00,000 vehicles annually.

The venture will venture into the premium vehicle segment and focus on extensive localisation and development of a robust automotive ecosystem across the country. Parth Jindal, from JSW MG Motor India, aims to be the leading auto OEM in the NEV segment, bringing world-class cars at affordable prices to Indian consumers. Rajeev Chaba, CEO Emeritus of MG Motor India, highlights the commitment to building a sustainable EV ecosystem in India.

“We are firmly committed to expanding our manufacturing footprint with extensive localisation by leveraging JSW Group’s extensive knowledge and expertise in manufacturing at scale,” Chaba said.
