Mike Lindell is a staunch U.S. President Donald Trump loyalist and was a major supporter and financier of the events that however couldn’t avoid Trump’s defeat in the US General Elections and the mayhem that followed after Trump’s attempts to overturn the election result. He vehemently supports various disproven conspiracy theories about electoral fraud in that election.
According to Wikipedia, Mike Lindell was born on June 28, 1961, in Mankato, Minnesota, and grew up in Chaska and Carver, Minnesota. His gambling habits started when Mike was a teenager and after schooling, he attended the University of Minnesota before dropping out.

Mike Lindell’s Business Empire
His business career is as controversial as his personal life. Mike started a number of small businesses in the 1980s which included carpet cleaning, lunch wagons, and a few bars and restaurants in Carver County, Minnesota.
In 2004 he created ‘My Pillow’ which was a headrest filled with pieces of shredded foam that interlock. Lindell grew the business into a Minnesota manufacturing company.
However in 2017 after a number of complaints by consumers and the refusal of the company to adhere to BBB standards the Better Business Bureau (BBB) revoked the accreditation of My Pillow to F rating.
Another controversial practice of the company was to continuously offer My Pillow’s “buy one, get one free” pricing and it was the normal price of the pillow rather than a sale promotion.
In 2020 Lindel made his son Darren the company’s chief operating officer in 2020 to pursue his own political ambitions.
However, his political views and claims relating to the 2020 United States presidential election resulted in some major retailers stopping stalking My Pillow in their inventories. However major retailers said that this was due to market research and low customer demand.
When big retailers like Walmart and Slumberland Furniture, stopped retailing My Pillow products, it led to a major crisis and in July 2023, MyPillow had auctioned off equipment and subleased some of their manufacturing space to tide over the crisis.
