Miracle of Survival: 2-Year-Old Satwik Rescued after 20 Hours in Karnataka Bore Well

The survival of 2-year-old Satwik Mujagonda, who fell into an open bore well in Karnataka, is miraculous, as he endured a 20-hour ordeal without health complications. Dr. Kulkarni praised the child’s remarkable survival and excellent health, describing it as a wonder in the medical field.

Despite being trapped head downward in the narrow well without food, water, or light, Satwik showed no signs of fatigue or sickness. The successful rescue operation was attributed to the efforts of NDRF, SDRF, district authorities, police, and locals. Leaders including Chief Minister Siddaramaiah praised the teamwork and community support that led to the child’s safe rescue.

Former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy and BJP leader Basavaraj Bommai also commended the rescue operation’s success, emphasizing the importance of preventing similar accidents in the future by closing open bore wells. Minister MB Patil hailed the collaborative efforts of rescue teams and locals, urging stricter enforcement to ensure bore well safety.

Satwik accidentally fell into the 400-foot deep bore well while playing in his parents’ agricultural land. Despite the harrowing ordeal, the toddler emerged unharmed, sparking a sense of relief and gratitude among the community. The incident highlights the need for greater vigilance and preventive measures to protect children from similar accidents in the future.
