Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has accused the government of being stubborn about the farmer’s movement. The senior Congress leader wrote on Twitter, ” Modi Govt’s apathy & arrogance have claimed lives of over 60 farmers. Instead of wiping their tears, GOI is busy attacking them with tear gas. Such brutality, just to promote crony capitalists’ business interests. Repeal the anti-farm laws.”

Earlier Rahul Gandhi had said, “All the three laws of farming are an attack on the soul of every farmer in the country. This is an attack on their blood and sweat. A few days ago I went to Punjab and Haryana and every farmer and laborer knows that these three laws are an attack on them. ”

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi recently said that the farmers Protest against the farming law is similar to the Champaran movement of 1917 in the British era.
