Pakistani Anchor Mona Alam’s Explicit Video Leaked, Goes Viral; Journalist Refutes Claim
In the last few months, there has been a deluge of fake MMS videos of prominent Pakistani personalities on the internet.
Most of the videos were either morphed or look alike which were peddled as private and explicit videos of prominent Pakistani media personalities.
Mona Alam’s Explicit Video Leaked and Viral On Twitter, Reddit
The latest to fall victim is Pakistani news anchor Mona Alam whose supposedly private video has been leaked online.
Mona Alam is a well-known TV anchor and hosts Question Hour with Mona Alam on Hum News.
Mona Alam has however addressed the leak of the explicit video supposedly of her head-on with a post on X.
Mona shared the screenshot of the alleged video and wrote,
“This woman’s objectionable video is being spread by petty haters on social media, claiming it’s me.”

Mona also revealed that the person in the explicit video is a proscribed criminal and also shared an original image of the woman to negate the claims made in the alleged video.
Mona Alam also filed a Police complaint against the spread of the viral video and also shared a copy of the report
Mona added in her post,
“My character is spotless, and all those campaigning against it will face the music!”
Mona had sought the help of Federal Investigation Agency Cyber Crime in Islamabad and in a complaint detailed the links to social media posts falsely linking her to the explicit video.
Mona also stated that some prominent journos were also recipients of the fake video via WhatsApp.
