Mother murders three children in Assam village

In a tragic incident in Assam’s Karimganj district, a woman identified as Shahena Afroz killed her three children and seriously injured her sister. The incident took place while her husband was away at a nearby market, leaving the family at home. Locals rushed to the scene after teenagers witnessed the brutal attack with a machete.

Shahena Afroz, a resident of Dolugang village, was living with her husband, three children, and 7-year-old sister-in-law. The incident unfolded on Sunday morning when teenagers from the village saw Afroz attacking the children. Despite their efforts to inform others, the children succumbed to their injuries after being rushed to a nearby health center and later transferred to a civil hospital in Hailakandi district.
