Motorola Edge 40 Launched in India: On Sale from 30 May, Check Price, Specifications

Motorola Edge 40 was rolled out on Tuesday in India. This Smartphone is already available in Asia Pacific markets, Latin America, the Middle East, and Europe as well. The Indian market will witness the base variant, Motorola Edge 40 for now. This Smartphone is available to purchase in a single storage and RAM configuration. Just like the variant available around the globe, it is offered in only three color options in India as well. This Smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity, 8020 chipset.

Motorola Edge 40 has been launched as the latest model to the Motorola Edge 30. This Smartphone is currently available with 8GB RAM and 256GB inbuilt storage. The phone will be available for procurement from 23 May but only with pre-orders. In India, the phone is currently priced at Rs. 29,999.

The newly launched phone will also be available in the sale from 30 May. No-cost EMI and flat discounts are also available on certain credit and debit cards. People can avail of the offers by checking at the time of payment. Currently, the three available color options are Nebula Green, Lunar Blue, and Eclipse Black.

Motorola Edge 40 Specifications

This newly launched phone, Motorola Edge 40 flaunts a display panel of 6.55-inch full-HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels). It also offers a 144Hz refresh rate, where the peak of brightness is 1200 nits. It is also powered by 256GB of USF 3.1 inbuilt storage, 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8020 5G SoC. This phone supports dual-SIM configuration and runs on Android 13, straight from the box.

Motorola Edge 40 offers a dual rear camera setup. It includes a primary sensor of 50-megapixel with OIS support, along with a sensor of 13-megapixel with an ultrawide lens for macro vision. The front camera sensor of 32-megapixel is centrally aligned on the screen. The Motorola Edge 40 also has a 4,400mAh battery backup with support for 68W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. It also supports GPS connectivity, Bluetooth v5.2, WiFi 6, and USB Type-C port.
