Motorola Edge+ Launched In US and Canada – Check Price, Specifications, and Availability

According to sources, the specifications of the new smartphone are somewhat similar to the Motorola Edge 40 Pro.

The Motorola Edge 40 Pro was rolled out last month in Europe. Both recently released Edge series smartphones are powered by 8GB of RAM, 512GB of ROM, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The newly released smartphone also features triple rear cameras that include a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 12-megapixel portrait sensor with Dolby Vision support and a 6.7-inch full-HD+ pOLED display with 165Hz refresh rate. Motorola Edge+ has a battery capacity of 5,100mAh with 15W wireless charging and 68W wired fast charging.

Motorola Edge+ which is released this year possesses connectivity options that include USB Type-C port, NFC, Galileo, Glonass, SUPL, LTEPP, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/k/v/r, and 5G, 4G LTE. This smartphone also includes sensors on board like a proximity sensor, barometer, SAR sensor, magnetometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, and accelerometer. The smartphone also supports a fingerprint sensor that is present on the display to ease and enhance operability. Motorola Edge+ possesses Moto Secure and ThinkShield safety features as well.

Motorola Edge+ Price, availability

Motorola Edge+ is priced at roughly $799.99 (₹48500) in the US for the 8GB RAM + 512GB storage variant. The same phone cost CAD 1299.99 (₹78000) in Canada. The Interstellar Black Shade Variant of the product is set to be released for sale in both Canadian and US markets. The sale will start on May 25.

However, you have a pre-booking facility available from 19 May. The various ways by which you can pre-book this smartphone are through retail partners like BestBuy, Amazon, and Motorola.com. Moreover, there is no news about the launch of Motorola Edge+ in the Indian market yet.
