Bhopal, Feb 26 (IANS) – Madhya Pradesh Police has initiated a four-day training session for security personnel looking after VVIPs visiting the state in light of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The training, held at the Special Branch Training Centre at the Police Headquarters in Bhopal, is being attended by 29 senior police officials, including 10 IPS officers.

State Director General of Police Sudhir Saxena addressed the inaugural session and emphasized the importance of VVIP security, especially during the election period. He urged the participants to not compromise on security measures and implement all possible efforts to ensure the safety of VVIPs. “This training session is very crucial for your personal and professional development, so take it seriously,” he said.

The training aims to equip security personnel with the necessary skills and knowledge to handle the security arrangements for VVIPs effectively. With high-profile visits expected during the election season, the police officials are being trained to handle any potential security threats or challenges that may arise.

Saxena highlighted the significance of the training session and expressed confidence that the participants will benefit greatly from the four-day program.
