MPPEB released the new date of the Jail Sentinel Recruitment Examination, now examination to be held from 11 to 24 December

Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB), Bhopal has released a new date for the postponed examination. Now, this exam will be held in two shifts from 11 December to 24 December 2021 (except 17 December). The first shift will be from 9 am to 12 noon, while the second shift will be from 2 pm to 5 pm. Earlier, this exam was to start from November 20. However, it was later abruptly postponed. According to the guidelines released for the examination, the candidates have to reach their examination center one hour before the scheduled time. Whereas, time will be given for reading important instructions half an hour before the exam.

Guidelines released for the exam

According to the guidelines issued by MPPEB, it is mandatory to have Aadhaar registration of candidates. Candidates will also have to bring their original identity card (voter ID card, Aadhaar card, DL, passport) along with their admit card. Electronic devices such as mobiles, calculators will not be allowed in the examination hall. Bring a pen with a black ballpoint for the exam. No one will be allowed to leave the exam hall until the examination is over.

282 posts will be recruited

Centers for examinations have been set up at Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Ujjain, Ratlam, Sagar, Satna, and Sidhi. In July, the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) issued a notification for the recruitment of 282 posts of jail guards in the Jail Department of the state government. For this, the examination was to begin on 20 November. But the MPPEB postponed the examination after the sudden change made in the examination centers by the agency fixed to conduct the examination.
