Mrunal Thakur advocates for regular meals and portion control

Mumbai, March 26 (IANS) Actress Mrunal Thakur sticks to the “grandma diet” for a balanced approach to nutrition and portion control. She credits her family for instilling healthy eating habits in her, even as she enjoys occasional treats.

In an exclusive interview with IANS, Mrunal shared insights into her daily routine and dietary preferences. The actress emphasized her strong bond with family, stating, “Spending quality time at home and having home cooked meals is what I prefer the most.”

Despite her demanding profession, Mrunal maintains a balanced approach to eating when she is away from home. She explained, “When I’m out, I eat a balanced meal, I don’t skip anything, but rather balance it and stick to proportions.”

Mrunal attributes her disciplined approach to food to the teachings she has received. She highlighted the role of her trainer in helping her stay fit, stating, “I have a brilliant trainer, who pushes me to do my best work out and always allows me to reward myself with food that I truly do enjoy eating.”

Describing her diet as a ‘grandma diet’, Mrunal elaborated, “It’s essentially eating what your family has always eaten, with a balance of understanding of portions and nutrition.” Fans can look forward to seeing her in the upcoming film ‘Family Star’ alongside Vijay Deverakonda, directed by Parasuram.
