Musk claims Google and Meta exhibit strong political bias

New Delhi, March 5 (IANS) Tesla and SpaceX CEO, Elon Musk, raised concerns about Google and Meta’s Facebook and Instagram having a strong political bias. He responded to a post alleging Google’s interference in US elections, stating that these tech giants put their “thumb on the scale.”

A user named Steven Mackey shared reports on X claiming Google’s intervention in US elections and accused the company of being “far more than a racist company.” Musk agreed with the post, highlighting the disturbing behavior of Google executives in an all-hands struggle session after Trump’s victory.

Musk also criticized Google’s AI response to “misgender” Caitlyn Jenner, calling it “sheer insanity.” He expressed concerns about the biases embedded in AI and emphasized the importance of truth-seeking as the best approach to ensure AI safety.

In his statement, Musk outlined the potential risks of AI controlling the world based on the errors and biases of its creators. He urged for a more transparent and accountable approach towards AI development to prevent any negative consequences in the future.
