Musk-Run X Launches ‘Articles’ Feature for Publishing Long-Form Written Content

New Delhi, March 8 (IANS) – Elon Musk-run X has announced the launch of ‘Articles’, a new feature on the platform, allowing Premium users to share long-form written content with stylised text, images, and videos. Available globally, Articles can also include various multimedia elements and text formatting options.

According to a statement by the company, “Articles is a new way to share long-form written content on X. Publishing Articles is a feature limited to Premium+ subscribers and Verified Organisations. Articles are available globally.”

Users can now format their articles with headings, subheadings, bold, italics, and even numerical and bulleted lists. The feature allows for a more interactive and visually appealing way to engage with content on the platform.

Once published, articles can be shared and read by anyone on X based on the audience controls set by the user. To create an article, users can visit the Articles tab on the platform’s side navigation, click write, and then publish when ready.

Furthermore, articles can be edited post-publishing and can also be deleted altogether, giving users full control over their content. The introduction of ‘Articles’ by X is seen as a move to challenge traditional media platforms by offering a more diverse and engaging content-sharing experience.

With the new feature, X aims to enhance the user experience on the platform and provide a platform for creators to share their long-form content seamlessly.
