New Delhi, Feb 17 (IANS) – BJP President J.P. Nadda delivered a rousing speech at the National Convention of the BJP, praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and expressing confidence in the party’s future success. He addressed a crowd of around 11,500 party delegates and declared that the Modi government will win a hat-trick and retain power in the upcoming general elections.
Amidst enthusiastic chanting of ‘Modi-Modi’ and ‘Jai Shri Ram’ slogans, Nadda credited PM Modi for the BJP’s expansion across the country and the formation of governments in 12 states. He highlighted the growth of the country under PM Modi’s leadership, emphasizing that the BJP has become the largest political party in the world and that there are NDA governments in 17 states.
Nadda expressed his firm belief in the capabilities of the party workers and urged them to ensure a massive victory for the BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. He revealed that the goal set by PM Modi for the elections is to win more than 370 seats, with the NDA crossing the 400-mark.
The BJP President also lauded the achievements of the Modi government, citing the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana and the significant reduction in poverty. He mentioned the party’s impressive rise in West Bengal, stating his confidence in coming to power in the state after the next elections.
