It has been 100 days since NASA’s Perseverance rover landed on the surface of Mars. Currently, the rover is searching for life on Mars. This NASA rover made a landing on the surface of Mars on 18 February. After this, it has captured many great pictures on its camera. Let’s see some such pictures.

The Perseverance rover took this picture through the Watson camera. In this picture, the rover and the Ingenuity helicopter located near it can be seen. The picture was created through 62 different photographs. It was sent back to Earth by the rover.

Several days after landing on the surface of Mars, the Ingenuity helicopter was still attached to it. In this picture, the small helicopter can be seen under the rover. The Perseverance Rover took this picture on 30 March 2021.

The Ingenuity helicopter weighs 1.8 kg. It showed its technical capability by flying in the atmosphere of Mars. This picture of the helicopter was taken by the rover on 5 April 2021 from Mastcam-Z.

NASA’s Ingenuity helicopter made history on April 19, when it flew for the first time on another planet beyond Earth. During this, the rover stood away and took this picture. The helicopter can be seen in the center of the picture. The Ingenuity helicopter flew to a height of three meters on the surface of Mars.

At the same time, on 22 April 2021, the Ingenuity helicopter made its second flight on the surface of Mars. During this, the helicopter took a color picture in the air itself. The rover’s walking trail and its shadow can be seen in the picture.

After this the Ingenuity helicopter made its third flight. During this flight, he captured the picture of the rover in the camera. In its third flight, the Ingenuity helicopter was 85 meters away from the rover and 5 meters high.

The Ingenuity helicopter made its fifth flight on the surface of Mars on 7 May 2021. During this it flew up to a height of 10 meters. Along with creating history, these flights also provided a lot of information to scientists.

The Perseverance rover began its maiden voyage over Jezero Crater two months later. Advanced instruments have been installed in the rover to examine the ground of the crater. This picture was taken by Rover himself. In this, traces of its walking can be seen on the surface during the rover’s first voyage on March 4, 2021.

NASA has also installed a laser in this rover, which helps in collecting geological data. In the picture some round marks can be seen on this 15 cm stone. They have been released after being examined by laser. This picture was taken on 28 March 2021 through the Mastcam-Z camera of the rover.

The US Space Agency has installed several types of cameras in the Perseverance rover. This image was taken from the Mastcam-Z called the ‘right eye’ of the rover. It is included in those cameras, which work like human eyes. This picture was taken on 13 May 2021. In this the stones present on the surface can be seen.

At the same time, this picture was taken on 22 March 2021 by the Mastcam-Z camera called the ‘left eye’ of the rover. The rover in the picture was selected as the ‘Image of the Week’ in the sixth week of the mission.

Santa Cruz Hill is visible in this image by the rover, which is located 2.5 kilometers from the rover. At the same time, this whole view is of Jezero Crater. The entire crater before the hill can be seen in this picture taken on 29 April 2021.
