Navratri Colours 2021: The festival of Navratri starts on October 17. Mother Shailputri is worshiped on the first day of Navratri. On this day Maa Durga is invoked by the establishment of the Kalash. Navratri begins with the arrival of the mother on the first day. Different forms of mother are worshiped for 9 days.
Colors have special significance in the festival of Navratri. Mother Durga loves red color very much. Therefore this color is most commonly used in Navratri. Mother’s red selector and mother’s outpost are also allowed to wear red clothes. The color red indicates progress. But apart from this, there are many other colors as well which can be used to get blessings of the mother by using it in Navratri. The colors used in the worship of mother in Navratri can also be lucky for you.
Day 1 – Gray color
According to the Panchang, Navratri is being inaugurated by Pratipada of Shukla Paksha of Matin month. This day is Saturday. Shani Dev loves black color. Hence the lucky color of this day is black. The use of this color is not considered auspicious in the pooja lesson, so one can worship by wearing gray colored clothes on the first day.
Day 2 – white color
On the second day of Navratri, we will worship Maa Brahmacharini. It is believed that Maa Brahmacharini loves white color more. White color is considered a symbol of peace. Maa Brahmacharini is also a symbol of peace and cleanliness. Therefore, worshiping mother should be worn on this day wearing white clothes.
Day 3 – red color
Mother Chandraghanta is worshiped on the third day of Navratri. Mother Chandraghanta loves red color. Worship this day by wearing red clothes. Mother’s blessings will be received. It is considered auspicious to gift red items to virgins on this day.
Day 4 – Royal Blue
Mother Kushmanda is worshiped on the fourth day of Navratri. Mata Kushmanda has made a special contribution to the creation of this creation. She is also worshiped as the goddess of power. You can use Royal Blue on this day. Royal blue is seen to be associated with joyous prosperity. Therefore, on this day, you can worship Goddess by wearing clothes of this color.
Day 5 – yellow and green
On the fifth day of Navratri, there is a law of worship of Mata Skandamata. Skandamata is the goddess providing affection and love. She is also the mother of Lord Karthikeya. On the fifth day of Navratri, people should wear yellow and green clothes. This color is dear to the mother.
Day 6 – Blue color
Mother Katyayani is worshiped on the sixth day of Navratri. Goddess Katyayani killed Mahishasura. Mata Katyayani loves red color more. But wearing blue clothes during worship is considered more auspicious. The belief behind this is that blue helps to concentrate. Mother Katyayani fulfills all desires.
Day 7 – Black color
Mother Kalratri is worshiped on the seventh day of Navratri. People who believe in Tantra Mantra consider the worship of Maa Kalratri as very special. Mother Kalratri loves Kajal color. Therefore, wearing black clothes on this day can worship the mother.
Day 8 – Orange color
The seventh day of Navratri is dedicated to Maa Gauri. Goddess Gauri is worshiped on this day. Gauri Mata loves red color. Therefore, you can use orange color with red color on this day.
Day 9 – red color
Mother Siddhidatri is worshiped on the last day of Navratri. Feroji, red or saffron color should be used in the worship of this day. On this day, you can get blessings of mother by worshiping wearing any color of clothes.
