NEET aspirant from a UP village tragically takes own life in Kota

A NEET aspirant from Uttar Pradesh committed suicide in Rajasthan’s Kota, officials confirmed on Tuesday. Uruj, 20, was preparing for NEET from a coaching institute in Kota. His body was found hanging from a fan in his room.

Uruj, a resident of Samdhan village in Uttar Pradesh’s Kannauj, had been living in Kota for the past year. His family and friends became concerned when he did not respond to their calls, leading to the discovery of his body by the police.

The police broke open the door of Uruj’s room after he did not respond to repeated knocks, only to find him hanging from the fan. According to Vigyan Nagar police officials, the student was scoring only average marks in his studies, prompting further investigation into the reasons behind his tragic decision.

As authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Uruj’s death, the incident serves as a sobering reminder of the pressure and challenges faced by students preparing for competitive exams like NEET.
