Neighbour fatally stabs woman in Delhi

New Delhi, April 13 (IANS) – A tragic incident unfolded in Delhi as a 35-year-old woman named Soni was stabbed to death following a quarrel with her neighbors in the Farsh Bazar area. The incident occurred on Saturday, leading to a devastating outcome.

Soni, a resident of Bhikam Singh Colony, was the victim of the violent attack. The police received a distressing call through the Police Control Room, reporting the stabbing incident. Upon arrival, Soni was found in her room with severe injuries, including multiple cut marks on her left hand and a wound in her stomach.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara), Surendra Choudhary, stated, “Soni was rushed to Hedgewar Hospital where she was declared brought dead by the doctors.” The initial investigation pointed towards a fight between Soni, her husband Satbir, and their neighbors Rambaran, Rita, and their daughter, which tragically escalated into a fatal stabbing.

In response to the heartbreaking incident, the Crime and FSL teams were summoned to the hospital and the crime scene. A case under Section 302 (murder) of the IPC has been registered by the authorities. The entire neighborhood is in shock over the senseless act of violence that led to Soni’s untimely demise.
