New Adventure Tourer Suzuki V-Strom 800DE Now Available in India at ₹10.30 Lakh

Suzuki has introduced the new V-Strom 800DE adventure tourer in India with a powerful 776 cc liquid-cooled engine and features such as a 270-degree crankshaft and Suzuki Cross Balancer system for a smooth ride and excellent handling. The bike comes with a 6-speed gearbox, bi-directional quickshifter, and 2-into-1 exhaust system.

The V-Strom 800DE is built on a rigid steel frame for stability and comfortable touring over long distances. The front beak is placed higher for better control on rough roads, and the seat rails have a narrow profile for improved rider control. The bike also features USD front forks from Showa, monoshock rear suspension, dual-channel ABS, and wire-spoked wheels with Dunlop tires.

Kenichi Umeda, Managing Director of Suzuki Motorcycle India, stated, “The Suzuki V-Strom 800DE is designed to provide the ultimate adventure experience with performance, technology, and versatility. This motorcycle aims to redefine adventure riding for enthusiasts with its all-around capabilities.” The bike also offers a ground clearance of 220 mm, a 20-litre fuel tank, and a 855 mm seat height for a comfortable riding position.

Devashish Handa, Executive Vice President of Suzuki Motorcycle India, mentioned, “The V-Strom 800DE caters to premium biking enthusiasts seeking adventure and purposeful riding experiences. With its distinctive design, tough looks, and new age features, the motorcycle offers an exceptional riding experience.” The bike comes with a 5-inch TFT digital instrument console, USB port, LED lighting, and the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System with multiple ride modes.

The Suzuki V-Strom 800DE will be available in three colors – Champion Yellow No. 2, Glass Mat Mechanical Gray, and Glass Sparkle Black. Priced at ₹10.30 lakh, the adventure tourer will compete against models like the Honda XL750 Transalp, Kawasaki Versys 650, Triumph Tiger 900, and BMW F 850 GS in the Indian market. Riders can expect a blend of power, technology, and versatility in the new Suzuki offering.
