New Z8 Select variant of Mahindra Scorpio-N now available at a starting price of ₹16.99 lakh
Mahindra Scorpio-N introduces new Z8 Select variant, with prices starting from ₹16.99 lakh. The new variant is significantly cheaper than the existing Z8 models and comes with added features like double barrel LED headlamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, and more.
The new Mahindra Scorpio-N Z8 Select is priced at ₹1.65 lakh lower than the Z8 petrol-MT and ₹1.11 lakh lower than the Z8 diesel-MT variant. It features double barrel LED headlamps with LED DRLs, LED projector fog lamps, and LED sequential turn indicators integrated into the ORVMs. The SUV will also come in the Midnight Black color scheme, making it an attractive option for buyers.
The interior of the Scorpio-N Z8 Select offers coffee-black leatherette upholstery, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch TFT instrument console, and Adrenox Connect with built-in Alexa. The new Adrenox tech brings over 60 connected car functionalities to the SUV, while retaining features like a sunroof and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The SUV will be available with both petrol and diesel engine options, with manual and automatic transmission choices. The 2.0-liter turbo petrol motor produces 197 bhp and 380 Nm of peak torque, while the 2.2-liter diesel engine develops 173 bhp and 400 Nm of peak torque. Both engines can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a torque converter.
The Mahindra Scorpio-N Z8 Select variant offers a more accessible price point for buyers, making it a compelling option in the market. It retains key features like Frequency Dependent Damping (FDD) and Multi-tuned Valve Central Land (MTV-CL), along with safety features such as four disc brakes, ABS, ESP, and six airbags.
The new Scorpio-N Z8 Select will be available at dealerships from March 1, 2024, as Mahindra has ramped up production to improve delivery timelines. The SUV is expected to attract a wider audience with its competitive pricing and enhanced features.
