Streamer Nick White has been banned from Kick due to malpractices in increasing his viewers’ count. He discovered a new way of view-booting services through which he and other creators could illegally increase their viewer count online.

This led to his ban from Kick. However, later the ban was reduced to only a month. This decision received massive criticism from online users.
Several Twitch creators have faced bans from the community for similar malpractices aimed at inflating their view counts.

Even Adin Ross has been called out by his fans and followers many times, but he denied the presence of any booting service on his live streams.
After getting banned on Twitch, Nick White created a new account and went live under the username NickWhitettv.
He shared the email he received from Kick’s support team with his followers, and one of them mentioned, ‘
They still haven’t fixed that? Didn’t DGG get a streamer to the top of Kick’s most viewed by doing something similar just by opening the same stream on multiple tabs because each tab counted as a view?’
After this, a flood of conspiracies started among fans about how easy it is to gather more followers and viewers on one’s account by simply keeping tabs open and closing them.
This malpractice has been ongoing for a long time on Kick, with more and more creators getting banned.

The co-founder of the platform, Ed Craven, released a statement last year that included the Kick team taking acute steps against such creators.
