Nigerian Actress Sharon Okpamen Dies Of Post-Delivery Complications; Fans Heartbroken
Well-known Nigerian Actress Sharon Okpamen is dead a month after giving birth, leaving her fans heartbroken. She was 35. The actress gave birth to her second child in July and shared the joyous occasion on her Facebook account.
Sharon in her post said,
“THANK YOU LORD 🙏🙏🙏🙏 MY OSARHUESE IS HERE!!!!”
However, the joyous moment was short-lived as the actress developed post-delivery complications and she slipped into a coma.

The actress never woke up from her coma and sadly breathed her last over the weekend.
The heartbreaking news was confirmed by Stanley Ontop, who is Sharon’s colleague in the acting industry and movie producer in an Instagram post on Saturday,
“Nollywood Actor and Producer Sharon Okpamen has unfortunately passed on. It’s a sad day for Nollywood & the Edo entertainment industry. Sharon, who was a filmmaker, actress, entrepreneur & humanitarian, has left a significant void in the industry. May her soul rest in perfect peace. Amen @sharonokpamen. It can only get better Shalom!!!
Sharon Okpamen, born on 16 February 1989, had an eventful acting career and was a well-known media personality and film producer.
She started her acting career in 2010 with the film Touch Not My Crown, a role she earned courtesy of the late veteran John ‘Mr Ibu’ Okafor.
During her career, she acted in over 100 films and earned a reputation as a versatile and talented actress. Sharon also produced the film Night Hustlers. She was also well known for her humanitarian services.
Her death was also confirmed by the Great Edo platform in a Facebook post,
“Sharon Okpamen has unfortunately passed on. It’s a sad day for Nollywood and the Edo entertainment scene.”
