Nikhilesh Rathore Shares a Beautiful Offscreen Bond with Shilpa Saklani
Mumbai, Feb 18 (IANS) – Actor Nikhilesh Rathore, known for his role as Bharata in the mythological show ‘Shrimad Ramayan’, has recently shared insights into his offscreen bond with actress Shilpa Saklani, who plays his onscreen mother, Queen Kaikeyi.
Nikhilesh expressed his admiration for Shilpa, describing her as beautiful, kind, and capable of bringing positive vibes to the set. He also revealed that they are currently shooting major scenes in which Bharata learns about Kaikeyi’s plans to send his brother Rama into exile, and the emotional impact this has on their father, King Dasharatha. Despite their onscreen differences, Nikhilesh emphasized his admiration for Shilpa’s professionalism and humble behavior, stating that she encourages his performance and is a talented actress from whom there is much to be learned.
The actor also shared that Shilpa goes out of her way to provide him with special treats on set, demonstrating her caring nature both on and off screen. Although upcoming episodes will portray differences between their characters, Nikhilesh expressed that their offscreen bond is incredibly strong and happy.
In addition to Nikhilesh and Shilpa, the show also stars Sujay Reu as Lord Rama, and Prachi Bansal as Sita. Nikhilesh has previously appeared in TV shows such as ‘Suhaagan’, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, ‘Mithai’, ‘Wagle Ki Duniya’, and ‘Krishna Chali London’.
