Elon Musk is a self confessed and diehard fan of Republican Party Presidential nominee, Donald Trump. Musk is on cloud nine after the thumping win of Trump who is going to be sworn in as the 47th President of the United States.
In a Tweet posted on X on November 7th 2024, Elon Musk shared a picture featuring the two together and captioned it with the Latin Phrase, “Novus Ordo Seclorum,” which translates into English as “a new order of the ages.” The tweet has already raked in more than 20 million views and is counting.

“Novus Ordo Seclorum” Harbinger Of Change
“Novus Ordo Seclorum” is a word which was phrased by Roman poet Virgil. The phrase also found mention in the metal band Megadeath’s Washington is Next song. The phrase also appears on the reverse of U.S. dollar bills as well as the Great Seal of the United States.

The phrase was first used by the Congress of the Confederation, Charles Thomson and Elon Musk by quoting the phrase as hinting of a new world order under Trump 2.0 Trump will assume office in January 2025.
“Novus Ordo Seclorum” is a phrase that hints of a historical change. As Trump surged past his opponent Kamala Harris, Musk took to social media and shared a screen grab from Polymarket showing Trump leading with 69.9%. He captioned the screen grab
“The prophecy has been fulfilled!”
He did not stop here and continued posting celebratory pictures which included a pix from an insider at the election watch party at Mar-a-Lago. The image shows Musk in deep conversation with Trump and UFC’s Dana White and was captioned,
“The future is gonna be so [lit],” punctuated by fire and American flag emojis.
Musk also added a tinge of humor and recalled his famous ‘sink’ meme –walking into formerly Twitter now X headquarters carrying a literal sink after buying the social media platform. He did a bit of editing, erasing the background and placing himself in the White House’s Oval Office, sink in hand.
The message he was delivering came out loud and clear. There are going to be ground breaking changes in the offing when Trump takes on the reins of US. Musk also shared a pic of SpaceX rocket piercing the sky with flames blazing behind with a message,
“The future is gonna be fantastic,”
He followed it up with another post in which he said,
“It is morning in America again.”

Elon Musk To Gain Immensely
Elon Musk initially supported the Democrats but became a staunch Republican supporter after the ascendancy of Joe Biden to the highest office. Musk has a lot to gain by supporting Trump.
According to the BBC, Musk’s company SpaceX could be tasked with sending government satellites to space. SpaceX has already got a head start ahead of its competitors especially Boeing which is facing flak for its failed Starliner which led to astronauts being stranded on ISS since August.
