New Delhi, April 3 (IANS) Global technology brand OnePlus has introduced a new AI Eraser image editing feature for its smartphones. The feature will be available on OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R, OnePlus 11, OnePlus Open, and OnePlus Nord CE 4 devices starting this month, aiming to revolutionize photo editing with AI technology.
OnePlus President and COO, Kinder Liu, stated that AI Eraser is the first step in the company’s vision to enhance user creativity and transform the future of photo editing. The feature allows users to easily remove unwanted objects from images within the Photo Gallery, with AI generating a replacement background seamlessly blending into the image’s style.
The underlying AI of the feature analyzes the selected area where objects like pedestrians or imperfections are highlighted and generates a suitable replacement background. Nicole Zhang, General Manager of AI Product at OnePlus, emphasized that the company will continue to develop innovative AI-based features to meet user needs and ensure a more convenient future for all.
