Oppo A18 was rolled out on Thursday in the UAE. This newly launched smartphone shares specifications similar to the Oppo A38. Oppo A38 was unveiled in UAE and India earlier this month. The new Oppo comes with a non-removable battery of 5,000mAh with a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. Oppo launched the smartphone as a budget handset.
Moreover, it has been rolled out in two color options and a single storage variant. Contrastingly, Oppo has not yet confirmed the cost of Oppo A18 in the United Arab Emirates. From the upcoming model by the company, starting from Oppo A2 Pro the company, Chinese manufacturer has announced to offer free replacement service of batteries.

Oppo A18 sports an IPS LCD of 6.56-inch HD+ (1,612 x 720 pixels). The Oppo A18 offers a screen-to-body ratio of 89.90 percent, a peak brightness level of 720 units, and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The phone runs on Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1 and supports dual-SIM. The Smartphone flaunts Mali G52 MC2 GPU paired with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 SoC.
The new Oppo sports 128GB of EMMC5.1 inbuilt storage and 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The inbuilt storage is expandable with the help of a microSD card of up to 1TB. The Smartphone also offers the service of virtual RAM extension but up to another 4GB. Oppo A18 packs a 5,000mAh battery. It also sports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for enhanced security. The newly launched smartphone supports USB Type-C, GPS, Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi, for connectivity.

At the optics front, at the top left corner of the smartphone, the pill-shaped module is placed vertically in its camera department. Oppo A18 features a primary sensor of 8 megapixels and another depth sensor of 2 megapixels. For video calling and selfies, the smartphone is equipped with a 5-megapixel front camera. The front camera is at the front house and is aligned centrally with a waterdrop notch at the top of the display.
