Original Video of Dawn Brancheau Getting Killed by a Tilikum Orca Whale Goes Viral on Twitter, Reddit

With the shocking turn of events, an old video from 2010 has resurfaced and is going viral on the internet showing Dawn Brancheau, a trainer getting killed by an orca whale. The viral clip is quite disturbing so viewer discretion is advised. It is spreading like wildfire on various social media platforms.

During the attack, Dawn Brancheau’s arm was torn from the shoulder and her hair and scalp were snatched, later it was discovered at the bottom of the pool. Her official cause of death has been stated as drowning with blunt force trauma.

Dawn always had a passion for sea creatures and wanted to spend time with majestic orcas. She worked with orcas at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida for almost 15 years. Plus, she was among the senior trainers who used to perform stunts in front of the guests.

Coming back to the attack, John Hargrove, a senior trainer at SeaWorld stated- “We’ll never know why Tilikum chose to grab Dawn and drag her into the pool. All of a sudden Tilikum, an orca whale snapped and dragged Dawn in the water by her hair.”

Other trainers tried everything to get Orca to move away from Dwan. They offered her nuts and food but the animal refused to let her body and kept her with him for the next 45 minutes.
