Recently, he became the center of controversy with the new lead, Palak Tiwari, daughter of actress Shweta Tiwari. It all started when Orry leaked a WhatsApp chat with Palak, facing public backlash for sharing private messages, later deleting it from his Instagram story.

Addressing the chat scandal publicly for the first time, Orry questioned why there was no criticism of Palak, who admitted fault. Responding to a Reddit user’s question.
He stated that Palak did something that hurt his feelings, and, importantly, she apologized only after a third party got involved. His response reads, “Why is no one asking what she’s apologizing for…? You’re criticizing me for not accepting her apology happily? But she’s apologizing for something she did that was wrong… wrong enough that a third party had to intervene and make her see it correctly.”
For those unaware, Palak Tiwari is rumored to be dating Ibrahim Ali Khan, Sara Ali Khan’s brother. She apologized under Sara’s guidance, stating, “Out of respect for Sara. I’m saying it.”
