Oumair Aejaz, Indian Origin Doctor In US Arrested For Filming Naked Photos and Videos of Childs and Adults
A Rochester Hills doctor has been charged with taking pictures of five nude adults and children, but the Oakland County sheriff and prosecutor have warned that there could be hundreds or thousands more victims in a case that eclipses even the disgraced Michigan State University sports doctor Larry Nassar’s abuse.
According to Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard, Dr. Oumair Aejaz, 40, placed hidden cameras in changing rooms and took videos of people when they were nude.
Police still have to go through thousands of videos that have been recovered from Aejaz’s home.

According to Sheriff Michael Bouchard, these videos were taken in hospital rooms, changing rooms, closets, bedrooms, and bathrooms over six years.
Sheriff Michael said,
“This is, and I can’t stress this enough, just the tip of the iceberg. This individual potentially is one of the worst I’ve ever seen. Because there’s no particular category. It’s not just children, it’s not just women, it’s not just men… The victimization is so broad and the perversion is so great that we’re just beginning to wrap our arms around it. It’s disturbing on so many levels.”
Oumair Aejaz was arrested on August 8 and was charged on August 13 with multiple counts.
He has been charged with producing child sexually abusive activity in August 2023, five counts of using computers to commit a crime, and four counts of capturing or distributing images of an unclothed person.
All the activities were committed from 2020 to 2023.
If proven, Aejaz could face maximum penalties ranging from five years in prison for capturing images of an unclothed person to seven years for using a computer to commit a crime.
More serious charges of child sexually abusive activity could invite jail sentences of up to 20 years.
The genesis of the charges can be traced to a mother who was with her 2-year-old and 4-year-old children in a changing room at Goldfish Swim School in Rochester Hills.
It is alleged that Aejaz filmed the mom, the two children, and another adult woman. After the criminal activity came to light, the mother, a doctor’s wife, approached the sheriff’s office and provided evidence against him.
Presently, Oumair Aejaz is in the Oakland County Jail on $2 million bail, and the prosecutor has stated that he is going to stay there for some time.
Prosecutor McDonald said,
“This individual preyed not just on parents and community members and trust, but also on our well-respected institutions and hospitals, who I do want to point out have been very cooperative.”
Bouchard stated that Oumair Aejaz’s act of capturing video does not come under any specific type of victimization and appears to have recorded and abused anyone, which makes him so dangerous.
It can be designated as physical, assaultive, or criminal conduct.
Bouchard added that the act is despicable because the victim is unconscious in her hospital bed, and he’s violating her.
Bouchard also explained how a 2-year-old is thinning out for a great swim day and they’re being captured naked.
Aejaz had not spared anyone, and this proved that he is a very sick man.
Oumair Aejaz is an Indian citizen and has been working in the United States on a visa since 2011.
He obtained an educational medical license in 2011 in Michigan, which expired in 2015, as per the Michigan Bureau of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.
Aejaz completed his residency at Detroit Medical Center Sinai-Grace Hospital before moving to Dothan, Alabama, in 2018 and later returned to Oakland County.
He regained his license in 2018 in Michigan and is an internal medicine doctor, according to WebMD.
Oumair Aejaz has no public disciplinary actions, according to LARA.
