  • NCP Chief Sharad Pawar said that- ‘Param Bir Singh wrote in a letter that some officials met Anil Deshmukh. But from February 6 to 15, Deshmukh was admitted to the hospital in Nagpur because of Corona.
  • Soon after Sharad Pawar’s press conference, former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis tweeted and questioned that ‘On February 15, the Home Minister was actually holding a press conference in front of the media with the Security Guards’.
  • Responding to this tweet by Fadnavis, Pawar said that with the discharge of Deshmukh, the media were standing outside his house. So that’s why he was answering media questions in the celebrity tweet case.
  • Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh has now moved the Supreme Court after writing a letter accusing Home Minister Anil Deshmukh.
  • Singh has filed a writ petition in the Supreme Court, demanding that the letter he has written to the CM and the allegations made, demand an independent and impartial inquiry into the entire matter.
