Pashupati Kumar Paras intends to await NDA list before making a decision.

Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party (RLJP) President Pashupati Kumar Paras expressed dissatisfaction over seat-sharing in the NDA for the upcoming Lok Sabha election. He mentioned that if his party does not receive adequate respect, they are open to contesting independently. Paras made these statements during a press conference in New Delhi after a parliamentary board meeting.

Paras stated, “We will wait for the list of the NDA… until the official announcement from the BJP. If they do not give us adequate respect, our party is independent. All doors are open for us and we could go anywhere to contest the Lok Sabha election.” He urged the BJP to consider the RLJP before finalizing decisions.

The RLJP has been a part of the NDA since 2014 and has worked diligently as an alliance partner. Paras expressed disappointment over the recent reports suggesting that his party was not given importance in the seat-sharing discussions. The party’s leaders and workers are disheartened by this development.

The Lok Sabha elections are scheduled to take place in April and May, with the dates expected to be confirmed shortly. The RLJP’s stance underscores the significance of mutual respect and fair representation within political alliances. Paras’ statements indicate a willingness to explore alternative options if their concerns are not addressed adequately.
